Anyone know if Daves away at the moment. I emailed him to confirm an order for a DM80 for my .17 rem end of march and he said approx 6 weeks lead time. Just sent a message last friday and no response so far.

Looks a decent bit of kit, certainly the whole area of mods has improved dramatically over the last three or four years.

It really is a good bit of kit, I wouldnt doubt recommending it to anyone with a small cal rifle.

Now if only Dave could make a lightweight mod along the lines of CMM4 for larger cals I would be there in a flash (HINT HINT)

I've recently had this mod bored out to 6.7mm to use on my new .223 AI and its soooo good! For its size and weight the sound moderation is as good as the huge T8 my friend used on his.

i have a dm80 on my 17hmr,i suspect when mu new stock comes in 2 weeks that there wont be enough barrel left for the mod to go over so i'm looking at getting an end of barrel mod the same ish diameter as my cz varmint barrel so if any one fancys a very tidy second hand one let me know.if mine don't fit i might as well sell or exchange

Accepting it's an old thread... How much are these new? A .20 calibre DM80? For those who know my circumstances, I have someone interested in my shooting partners .204 and possibly the DM80? Hence the how much are they and what would the second hand value be?

I'm still undecided whether to have it for myself, but it's a tad longer than my ASE utra, but lighter!

So £90 would be realistic? I've been thinking of second hand values of the ASE Northstars, which seem to be £150 second hand...

    Thanks for the advice.

Does Dave Mercer still make these mods and is he associated with the DM80 website offering them for sale?

    DM80 Mod

Appreciate the DM part but DM80.co.uk's website offers centrefire mods starting at £230 whereas saxon above quoted £165 for one so I'm just trying to clarify it they are one and the same and why the price difference. Thanks.
