can you fire steel bb out of dan wesson 6mm bb revolver?newbie question be nice!!!

Have just trotted downstairs and tested all my Cal BB/4.5mm with a neodmium speaker magnet on a stick with which I normally clear up my Cal BB with when I have had a mad splurge blowing Beer Ahem! Pop cans to bits,

being hollow spherical copper coated steel they all stuck to the magnet??

Brands

Crossman Copperheads and SMK Golds all Cal BB/4.5mm,

The plastic ones were non magnetic, Phew! the Home Made Sloe Gin is not to blame after all

I am more into lead slinging but more than willing to be led astray,

hi guys i have a dan wesson 6 " 6mm bb revolver on the way (a gift from the family yey)and just wondered if you can fire steel bbs out of it and if so how?the steel bbs are 4.5mm arent they?can you just change the shells?or is the barrel different.sorry if this is a silly question!!

A mate has just e-mailed me tonight to say that he's been shooting 6mm steel bb's that he got from s m k and that they are Awsome he highly recommends them !...mike...
