Thank you Oakies - very enjoyable and the company of Mr Aiken put the icing on the cake

I nearly made 50 - pity about donutting the kneeler in the field - I was clear until then and it gave me the wobbles. The woods were trickier than I expected...

Great fun and it restored my faith in that old 77 - despite some frantic scope twiddling on the zero range beforehand(I managed to knock the gun over during the week)

And Mr Appleyard, thank you so much for those sexy waterproofs, even horsey lady had to look twice ( I must lose weight)

    Oakies springer shoot

Good turnout again, thanks Richard for your most enjoyable company and cheery disposition, the sight of horsey lady in those tight jodpurs made us both a little shaky puting us both off our game a bit ( though for the life of me I can't remember what that shaking means).
Chris you done really well, could I have my scope back now please.
Looking forward to the next few weeks, last SHS, last Oakies springer all signifying the end of winter, and the start of SIHFT..... it just gets better and better, take care all!

Auntie if you want us to cheer you on we can.
Great course. Good company. Good weather. Jinksy wind, but it would not be the Oaks without it.

No weekends off till 13th now, see you all at Lea Valley Southern Hunters.

I finally got to shoot with the Man himself. He is well mannered and not a bad shot. So I have to say he is well placed to be re-elected this spring.

Was that the gist of your mutterings Mike. I still want to be a member.

    Mike for Chairman!

Shame about being beaten in the League though And by a kid!

You are right Chris, simons ability is not reflected in his scores...?
Simon is a really good shot, maybe he is losing out with rangefinding?
And Yes, the boy did good..have i mentioned how i hate kids??..

Congrats on your PB Chris, it just gets tougher now!...

As for full on charge, methinks...Fix bayonets is in order!!
