Ruger old army blue or stainless

    Hi
Iam in the market for getting a couple of these revolvers as i shoot cowboy action with the BWSS, or at least when i get a variation done, and blue ones seem to be the cheaper of the two types compared to stainless.
Do the blue ones need more work in the cleaning department compared to the stainless or are they much the same , basically is the money better spent getting stailess.
As a side issue how much is 1 kilo of lead to buy for casting.

I was going to buy one of these til I shot one on thursday then my friend showed me how to clean it. He stripped it completely, when I saw all the bits laid out I thought theres no way I'm gonna remember how to put it back together again. Bit like stripping an engine, I always find one bolt left over
