Is your trigger completely out of adjustment. There should be instructions supplied with the gun as to how to set it up. The Alecto can be safely "dry fired", therefore I wold recomend not putting any more pelets in it until it is fixed.
Help... my Alecto is not well
When I pump the gun (single pump) it sounds like it vents a noticeable amount of air.
When I fire the gun I only hear a click from the trigger and the pellet is NOT fired.
BUT .... When I release lever and move the upper section of the gun it then FIRES the pellet! Very dangerous.
Any thoughts ?
Thanks
Ian

I'd second checking trigger adjustment as that does sound like the trigger might not be setting or releasing properly, I'd also try running the recommended amount of oil through it as SSPs & MSPs can act wierd if they get a bit dry,

Hi try taking grips off and putting smear of grease on trigger sear, I had similar problem with mine and found out it is a common problem and Webley were getting many returned with this fault until they issued service update.
PM me with your email and I can send you copy that Webley sent me
Thanks for the replies chaps.
I'd also thought of returning the trigger to the factory settings as when I'd bought the gun it had been adjusted both pull and weight.
Cheers
Ian
