    Rifle bags

    Hi chaps,
I dont normally frequent this discipline as i tend to be purely hunting
I now live in New Zealand and have discovered over here that there are no specific target rifle bags for the guys to use. They seem to fudge everything for competition into golf carts or various bags.
If you guys could furnish me with some ideas of what you carry around the shoot and if you had a say in designing a specific bag for the job what would you have it do?

The words " drag bag" and "target rifle" don't really go together.

    try looking at this

its the Anschutz "pick up" bag. It's not too military looking. I have seen it, and the shoulder / backpack straps and attachments look really weak and flimsy. It's also very expensive. They also do a couple of Biathlon cases, which I've never seen.

I"d like space to hold target cards (in whatever format you use over in NZ). Carry at least 200 rounds, cleaning kit, earmuffs, bits and bobs. BUT, don't make the mistake of trying to fit everything in the one bag. My shooting kit weighs in excess of 20kg, hence the golf carts

A cricket bag is about perfect. I use a G&M 5Star wheelie, a ridiculous name but it's long enough to accommodate my jacket without folding it crossways, as well as spotting scope, stand, tool box, sight bock, ammom box, gloves, jumpers, clips (in the handy helmet section), and other assorted bits.
