After some google searching, I have a feeling its probably a mid 80's version.

I also assume its a mk3 version as it has a metal trigger and the front sight is like the HW with interchangeable elements.

    would this be correct?

    Mk1 Plastic Trigger
    Mk2 Metal Trigger
Mk3 Metal Trigger with Element style front sight.

Was there a Mk4? I could do with a History lesson on the 124 if anyone can help?

    FWB

    Hi Nick
The last of the FWB124/127's had an unusual and unattractive Dan Dare type muzzle attachment, that did not take target elements from what I remember. I believe it had just a post fitted
I always thought that this was the Mk3

Yeah agreed with above. I had a lovely L/H Fwb 124 with a metal trigger and the tunnel foresight it was definitely a Mk2, wish I still had it Hope this helps.

    Cheers

    Cheers chaps,

It looks like mine is a Mk2 with metal trigger and tunnel foresight

Its a superb gun, perfect weight/balance and I only wish I had found these earlier in my shooting career

I've always gone for the newer stuff but this classic is the best springer I've owned and shot to date like a really well oiled machine

I really have fallen for its charms

Correct re the Dan dare muzzle weight. The Mk 3 also had a more angular stock especially around the pistol grip.
Why didn't Feinwerkbau just stop producing the model rather than trying to destroy sales with this monster.

Where do 127 series fall ... 12788? Plastic trigger.

Are they simply within the 124 series?
    Cheers, Phil
