    All metal Pistol recomendations?

    Hi,

I'm looking to buy an all (or mostly) metal, preferably realistic looking pistol, and was looking for some recomendations?

Mostly to be used for plinking cans but would like to have reasonable accuracy and moderate power.

I think I would Idealy like and earyl Baikal Mp-654K, but they seem to be like hens teeth!

I don't mind if it's bb, pellet or both, or Spring or Co2 etc.
    I have a budget of around £200.

Am I looking for a jack of all trades, 3 guns in 1. I dunno is it possible?

    Kind regards,
    DD.

    DD,
    Umarex's 6" Smith & Wesson (10 shot), CP88 Competition and Colt 1911 (both 8 shot)would be my recommendations in CO2.
HW-70, HW-45 or BSA Scorpion for springers.
The 6" Smith is a competent target pistol with fully adjustable sights as standard, it's a good plinker and is a popular choice for Speed shooting, I've used one for IPAS and found it up to the job,

If fast-action multi-shot fun is most important, go with the Umarex586 or 686.

Single shot tack-driving accuracy? The HW 75 SSP.

Accuracy and power? The HW 45 Springer.

You could consider a Benjamin EB22 or even better an EB17

Made in America and all metal construction - mainly brass. No plastic.

Noisy (love it!) with a slightly crude trigger but compact and accurate. Up near the legal limit power wise too.....

EB22 (.22) still available new for about £150. EB17 (.177) available used from about £65 for a good one.

If I could only own one single shot pistol then I would find it hard to choose between this and an HW45. Considering the quality and excellent shooting characteristics of the HW45 thats saying something.

    Well within your budget.

    All metal pistol

For that price if you want a gun that is comfortable in the hand and accurate and a good investment, look for a Smith and Wesson 78G or 79G.These are copies of Model 41 .22 rimfire. I love to shoot mine almost as much as my Schimel.
