    Crossman 140,s

Hi, I am having a sort out !
    I have almost 2, " Early " Crossman 140,s 1950,s
    Pic-

One is complete ( Except for the crossbolt safety pin ) & Almost shoots, !
The other is almost complete except for this !
    Pic-
Its the end off the compression cylinder ( Anyone have one ! )

I am beginning to see I may never put These or the Sheridans together , ?
Would purchase the part or swap Sharp/Sheridan parts , Or if any intrest would put a price on them ( As per the rules )

I also have this , Pic-
A military Meteor from York cadets, The last one of the 17, I bought, Its .177, Barrel not drilled for sights, Trigger sear missing & Screws ( I may have these & will add free if I can find them ) But not included in the sale Per se. How about £37 posted ! o.n.o

Cheers, ged. Please reply on the Forum,

Ged, as this appears to be a sale rather than a valuation thread, you need to have a price on everything mate.

OK Steve, It does read a bit like that, I was looking at swapping for Sharp/Sheridan parts ( Withdrawn )

Wanted; This bit off the end of the crossman 140-1300 compression tube

    Cheers Ged.

I am sure I have Taps & Dies for 1/2 Unf, Until I get around to it ??? stay on the back burner or the " Bay "

You know how it is , All the best Ged.

    Yes Ged I do

I just happened to put a wanted add on here to get a couple of Crosman parts and look what I ended up with.

    http://i1138.photobucket.com/albums/...6012006166.jpg

And that's just the two small boxes of parts.

I don't actually know how many Crosman pistols I have up and running and I've just started building another.

Mind you Ged I did find this today and thought of you.

    http://i1138.photobucket.com/albums/...6012006172.jpg

I'm not sure if it's surplus to requirements yet.

But I'll give you a shout if it is.

    You B%%%%%% ? Ha ha,
Hiya Mick, Some nice parts there, I suprisingly understand your reluctance to let parts go ! I,am the same.

I ( Like yourself have a love for the old pumpers ) The spares are not too difficult for the Crosman, As many are interchangeable, Parts for the Sharp & Sheridan are another matter ? All the best mate, Ged.

    Hi Ged

I've been fascinated by pumpers since I bought my first one in 1979.
I love my spring rifles but I always like to have a decent Crosman 1322 to play with.

I now make all my own valve parts for the 1322/1377 as well as my own O ring pump heads and stainless pump tubes.

I'm just weighing up whether to fit a few parts from my abandoned Stainless Setra project to this new 1322.

    http://i1138.photobucket.com/albums/...7012006181.jpg

Probably a no vote as I'm not that keen on porridge and I don't want to make new best friends in the shower.

This is the part that I find makes or breaks a 13xx

This is my attempt at a sear spring guide that also acts as a stop to prevent sear and trigger overtravel ---- so far so good.
And I think it looks beter than Crosmans idea of fitting a screw in the bottom of the trigger guard to stop overtravel.

Hiya Mick " WHERE,S MY PART " Ha ha,
Now, As you know I have these , Pre-charged Crossman 1322,
    Pic-

I made this over 5, years ago & There Its lain in the garage ! I made up a compression tube with an exhaust valve on the end , This slides into a cut down 1322 tube, Made up a brass breech, Etc,

I remember how many shots ? Around 25, at 2000 Psi, 6 Fpe, & pumped up with a stirrup pump !

    I also made this -

Its a crossman 2250, In this one I made an insert for the tube again around 20 shots at 2000 Psi & 6 Fpe.
Because its a rifle it makes 12 Fpe & 15 shots , With its stock & 20 Crossman 140 barrel & my breech

    Here it is finished-

    I also have this -
Its a Pre-charged Sheridan with a .22 Setra breech & barrel , I was given a damaged Sheridan tube & The barrel & breech ( No guns wre harmed in the making of this , Ha ha, )
They haven,t been shot for a couple of years ! Ged.

    Very nice Ged

I can't really show many of my guns as I disabled most of them last year when I went under Police protection (which I still am).

Hopefully by the end of March everything should have quietened down a bit and I'll be able to get everything back together and also get my shotguns etc back out the safe at the local nick (I handed them in for safe keeping, I've not been naughty).

    All the best Mick
