    High speed pellet photo's

Came across this site referenced from the Dutch air rifle forum. I like the photos, so I hope others will also.

    Thats some very clever photography.

I believe that they use a spinning mirror to film tank shells whilst in flight. This allows them to track the shell in flight and not just pass a small window as the projectile wizzes past.

When I went to the NRA at Bisley, they had a slo mo picture of a pellet leaving an air rifle. It was probably 1 or 2 cm out of the barrel and you could see a little droplet of molten lead following it out.

I also beleive a similar thing happens to pellets upon impact.

    The dancing water was excellent.
