    Titan sl800

Selling on behalf of a good friend is his TITAN SL800 Sidelever .177 Air Rifle

After a lot of digging i would like to say a massive thanks to everyone who helped ID this little beauty and as a result my good friend has decided to give it a new home as it is just going to sit in his cupboard and gather dust.

The Titan is in excellent condition apart from a slight mark under the stock at the front swivel and a few very small rust marks ( surface ) on the side of the action which could be removed quite easily.

It comes with a Nikko Stirling 4 x 32 Silver Crown scope and a leather padded sling

    LOL

    Here you go:

Unfortunately it's persisting it down here so no chance for good outdoor natural light photos.

I'll do better ones in a few days when the weather improves

Shoots at 9 - 9.2 ftlb at the moment which is OK for a smallish gun.

The breach seal is knackerd - where can I get a new one

Does anyone know what went on the front of the rather nice 18-14 mm tapered barrel?

    Thanks

    Cheers

    Thanks Rockdrill

I will try to get a period slip on silencer that will fit the 14mm parallel end section.

I would like to know what the foresight looked like

And what the rear sight looked like too

    Thanks all

Matt - you have e-mail with a picture of the foresight.

Rearsight - similar to that on a B2 IIRC.

    Thanks Dale

Just found this link which is excellent and shows that the actions in these TITANS were actually made by EMEI of China which was a producer of much higher quality guns to the same pattern as the particularly 5h1t "Industry Brand" factory in Shanghai

So the SL 800 / SL 600 actions are the same action as on the TS45 but just made to far more exacting standards.

I was well impressed with the accuracy figures.

Can't wait to get the old girl zero'd in

My first time for ages to get in with a "yes please" first

I normally miss by 10 or 15 minutes
