diana/milbro MK4 pistol

why is this pistol so under rated and valued pop out pistols fetch more,when i was a kid gat guns £1.25p the mk4 much dearer [not as dear as webleys]out of our range 2/6 pocket money per week.

Dunno, I think that it is a great little pistol and have four of them (though one is a bit tatty). It seems some pistols evoke memories of childhood etc etc and some do not. I would have loved a MK4 when I was toting a Diana 2 at school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've ignored these in the past, thought them a bit odd looking and gone for the mainstream Webleys and Crosmans. Now I'm more into older German and airpistol designs and the Diana 4 looks interestingly unusual, maybe they were just overshadowed in their day by more conventional competitors.
