    Hi Baz,

I have a 226 and have changed several of the seals, which ones are you changing and do you need the strip down pics?

    Regards

    Mike

    Seals

Mike, when I load CO2 capsule, gas escapes very slowly over a couple of hours. I do not know where it is escaping from. Can you send strip down diagram, and are they standard O rings or special ?

    Thanks, Baz

    Baz,

One of the problems with the 226 is you have to cock the action before you put the Co2 in and tighten the tube, putting the gas in before you cock causes most of the gas leak problems.

Where I`ve had a leak from was the launch unit, what they call a valve (No. P2104 on the diagram) it looks like a PTFE type thick seal which wears on the face the windpipe seats on, this can be turned around and the rear face used.

There are a few specialist seals but the standard `O` type can be replaced from one of the O ring kits.

I`ve sent by E-mail the strip and rebuild steps as a powerpoint presentation and also the component diagram.

    Hope these help.

    Mike.
