    Cambridge HFT 27th March

Cambridge HFT are holding an open shoot on Sunday 27th of March. Everyone is welcome, members and visitors alike.
There will be a 30 target / 30 peg course held in two adjacent coppiced woods to full UKAHFT rules. These targets are numbered as normal and painted yellow with black kill zones.

    ALSO - This time:

There are an extra 10 pegs and 10 targets that are not part of the UKAHFT rules course. This is the Cambridge Challenge course. 5 separate targets on 5 separate pegs at each end that are a little more challenging - not outrageous or extreme - just a little more challenging. These targets can be distinguished from the UK rules course in that they're painted blue with white kill zones, and the peg numbers are a different style. Anyone taking part can have a go at these targets if they wish to.

There's a trophy for the winner.

We also have a full 45yd zeroing and plinking range with Knockover resettables and paper targets.

Sunday 10 am latest book in for a 10:30 am start. Zeroing range is open from about 8.00 am to set up.

We are now able to offer three club owned AA S200's for hire (three .177) and an AA S400K (1.77) to those who wish to try hft or fancy a change from spring power.

There are medals for the winners in all classes, 1st - 3rd.

Tea and coffee, soft drinks, hot food and more at excellent prices from the catering van. Vegetarian food available please post if you require it.

Easy to find, either coming down from Cambridge / M11 turn off at Harston junction and head towards Royston. Or coming up from Royston take the Cambridge road. Shepreth is well signposted, head into the village and find the railway station. Then head out of the village over the railway crossing and the club is at Brook Farm - about 400 yds out, on the left. There is a SAGC sign at the gate. The nearest postcode is SG8 6QD.

Drive along to the end of the dirt track to find the club.
Please keep your speed below 15 mph within the farm and please park in the designated area!

Have a good day and hope we all do Cambridge hft justice at the nationals.

Too true. A large box of Kleenex maybe to mop up the tears of laughter.
