    Thumbs up 2011 SiHFT Series

Well, the 2011 SiHFT Series has started with a bang, pun intended.Thank you Horsham for what was indeed a challenging course ! Buxted 'Hobbit Army' clear of the field already ! What a day, except for a couple of dodgy looking targets ,which gave the brain/eyes a workout ,the weather couldn't have been better either.Hopefully my score today will NOT reflect my shooting skill for the rest of the series.

My thanks to Horsham for a cracking course. The scores would have been interesting to see if it was shot on a overcast day.

Thanks to Jon & Phil for the company and proof that a Hobbit can get on with two Oakies without the nigh on overwhelming urge to mock. However, I did manage to drag their scores down without trying that hard.

Best of all, I finally gots me precioussness; a silver. My first bit of SiHFT booty, me hearties.

The standard has been set as far as courses go, that was blinkin' brilliant - thank you Horsham. If we can come close to matching that for the rest of the series it will be the series of the millenium. Very, very tricky - but nothing that a bit of thought couldn't overcome.

One of the best courses I have shot, well done chaps.

10 point lead already (over the next best team, that being HORSHAM & not the OAKS ), gonna take a small miracle to catch up already I think... Time to get the Horsham lads back into training
