    age of theoben sirocco

    Hi everyone,can anyone tell me the age & model of my theoben,i bought this secondhand as a sirocco HV the sereial no-TB6201,but i dont see any stamp as to what model it is.
    ps it,s a .22 if this helps.

    The serial would indicate that it was manufactured in March '91.
    As to the model, they weren't stamped with anything other than a serial. The differences in the various models came down to stock variations, barrel lengths and muzzle finishers/silencers. A good description and or pictures will be the way forward here. However, from that time period, it's likely to be a standard Sirocco. If it's got a walnut thumbhole stock it would make it a Sirocco Grand Prix.

    Thanks for that sam vimes,there are pictures of this gun on my for sale add if they will help in identifying the model.
    ps i also have a fenman with a profile stock & dovetail for scope serial no-TB14911,can you tell the age/model of this please.

    Standard Sirocco by the looks of it. Exactly the same muzzle weight, barrel length and action as my Sirocco GP. The difference is that mine sits in a thumbhole stock which is precisely what makes it a Grand Prix.

    The available data ends with serial TB14749 in Feb 02. Based on rough estimates of previous production your rifle was probably in the next batch or two of rifles produced. That'll probably mean that it dates around mid 02. You've probably already guessed that it'll be a Fenman Profile.
