    Airsporter S Mk 2 .22 for sale

    Hi,
I am selling one of these rifles. I have hardly used it at all and am unlikely to be able to do so owing to lack of leisure time. Please consider giving it a good home.
    Airsporter S Mk. 2 .22 cal. .
    Low serial no. .
    Full length barrel.
Original metal open sights, front sight hood present.
Stock has some little marks but no cracks or splits and in view of age of
rifle I would say stock is VGC.
Power about 8ftlbs (spring shortened to make for a fun gun/plinker
and this has proved to be plenty of wallop for shooting in
    the back garden).
Gun has been completely overhauled by Colin Malloy -
Metalwork polished and reblacked to the highest standard.
    No damage to metalwork anywhere.
(Colin even did the stock bolts, loading tap screw, underlever
    and underlever connecting strut.)
Back block stripped and refinished with Duracoat.
Lettering on cylinder picked out in gold.
    Cocks and fires perfectly.
I will supply a standard Airsporter spring (new and
unused from Chambers) with the rifle.

Price £200 posted (UK only) by Royal Mail standard parcels insured.
Please do not offer to buy the gun unless you are over 18 and not subject to
any prohibition relating to ownership of an airgun.

Many thanks for looking, pictures to follow I hope..

Sorry but I can't see the facility for adding attachments, my mistake, should have checked first. I can email pictures of the rifle to anyone interested.

I have sent pics by email to both Legionaire and Drummerboy but have received 'failure notices' back automatically. I am useless with computers so if they have not got the photos they want I will most likely withdraw the gun from sale for now unless one of the moderators would be kind enough to move the ad. to the general section where (if that is possible) I can add some of the picturesas attachments. Many thanks.

PS. The rifle has always shot a bit to the right with me and while my eyesight is poor I cannot discount the possibility that there is some defect with the gun.
The sights look pretty straight on the barrel and the barrel itself (all of 17mm diameter of course) also looks straight. Maybe expert investigation might reveal a bent barrel or some factory barrel installation error?
Anyway in view of this problem I have lowered the price to £170 to cover any repair costs etc. for the buyer. (That's £170 posted.)

Please see my post above yours. I've just sent another pic. and have got another 'failure to send' message back automatically. At some point I will readvertise the gun in the general section where photos. are easier to put up. Please also take note of my remarks about the rifle shooting to the right. PM me if you're still interested and maybe we can sort something out re. the pictures.
