    UBC Pistol Marksman Award scheme

The UBC will be starting a new pistol marksman award scheme in a couple of months time. Loosely based on the American NRA scheme its is designed for multi shot CO2 & airsoft pistols.

    Sound interesting?

And don't complain if you find the early phases "too easy!". Stick with it: it'll get tougher!

There has been a little bit of confusion caused by the UBC's 'membership' procedure - Ive changed the schemes eligibility criteria so that it is open to UBC members and people registered on the UBC forum.

    Hope that helps

The UBC Marksman Award Scheme starts today!

If you have a multi shot CO2 pistol then why not join in?

It starts easy and gets harder - a great way to hone your pistol shooting skill! You can take as long as you like to complete each stage. Certificates are forwarded via email and boxed award medals are available. Its free to enter (though you have to pay for the medals of you want them!) so what are you waiting for? See you there!

This is off to a good start with 10 Pro Marksman awards confirmed within the first few days. A number of people, like Jim, will be shooting theirs at the weekend so I would expect more in over the next 3 days or so.

I had a go at the first level and filmed it if anyone wants to see It might also help clarify things if you are unsure about the rules etc.
