Exclamation Sussex Interclub HFT 2011 Round 2 - RESULTS

    Hi All

With a BIG, and slightly belated thanks to the home crew for their immense efforts in setting our course and running the competition day, and for helping with the take-down. Another thanks due especially to our chefs - Mike, Kerry and Stuart – for so ably running the breakfast and lunch kitchen.

I think you all found the course challenging, helped along by the swirling and very variable strength breeze both in the field and the wood, including that wretched lane 1. Doh! Taking all this in to account, average scores for the day were high at just over 52, and a high number of gold badges awarded.

I apologise for the delay in assessing yesterday's badge awards and for the posting of this thread, which I usually aim to have complete within a few hours of the shoot ending, and certainly on the day of the comp. However, you will have gathered that I had a minor ‘glitch’ with the spreadsheet on site and couldn’t be sure that what I was seeing (or not seeing very well in the bright sunlight) was ok. And I was far too knackered to hack in to the problem yesterday evening. All sorted (I hope) now.

Here are the full results – in the usual format – and with the usual request to PM me if you spot any errors or omissions :

Not according to his comment during booking in, nor his score card on which Richard had initially logged it as recoiling but Tony himself corrected to read OPEN. I've just checked it.

Ooops. Doing 'stuff' too quickly. Only happened in the transfer between my HUGE spreadsheet and the BBS post, which involves (for far too complicated reasons) four stages of format conversion, including one which maths is cr@p

    Sorted now.
