    Advice Welcomed

Hello to all, I have a FWB 300s and after cleaning the front plastic sight lens I noticed it has a side that is countersunk and I am unsure as to which way I should replace it back into the front sight. Thanks for any help.

I dont think it matters, but I put the "larger hole" facing me, and the smaller hole near the muzzle. I've got that type of foresight on all three of my rifles, and it seems to work.

The ones I've seen fitted always have the countersunk fitted towards the shooter's eye, but I'm not sure it matters. As I understand it the purpose of the countersink is to reflect the light so as to create a dark ring, giving the illusion that the sight element is "floating" within the sight shroud.

The countersink faces the target & away from the shooters eye.
