    TX200 MK2 standard vs TX200 MK2 carbine

Both rifles are FAC and both are completely stock. The carbine has a bit harsher firing cycle. Is that normal or is something amiss?

If they are both running at the same power the carbine needs a little more spring due to the shorter barrel

The Mk2 being a shorter stroke than the Mk3 may make this more noticeable

Agreed. Completely as you'd expect. I have a sub-12 .177 Mk III HC and often wished I'd gone for a standard length due to the extra efficiency and slightly longer underlever for easier cocking.
