    Question Walther LGV/LG55.....wanted

Do you have either an LG55 or LGV that would enjoy a change of scenery?

The candidate should be in excellent working order and complete with correct sights, although perfect looks are not essential.

I'm looking to give a good home to such a rifle.

Dry secure storage, a diet of the best german pellets and light but regular exercise followed by a gentle oil rub are offered. Whilst the seller would receive suitable renumeration.

Thanks in advance for any replies

    Also seeking:

-HW55, preferably a CM, but all models considered,

    -Original/Diana model 35 with diopter,

    -Anschutz 335S,

So basically anything with a "5" in it's model descriptor

If you have any of these rifles please post your experience with them and any history you know of that surrounds them.

Many thanks for looking and any info you can provide.

    Thanks for the reply Wadhill.

I've done a fair bit of research on these models, and have shot the HW55 and some of the Walther variants, I'd be interested in your assessment of them.

Do you have a favourite? I've no experience of the 335S.

I have a FWB 150 and Original 66, my interest is informal target shooting and Bell Target and am looking for a recoiling target gun partly because they tend to be somewhat lighter (most of the sledge or recoilless sidelever rifles are approaching 11 lbs). I also find them interesting from a mechanical pont of view, appreciating the simple design and high quality.

Should you ever decide to part with one of them please do PM me.

Don't write off the Walther LG51 and 53 either.
Light, recoiling break barrel with superb trigger and v. accurate for bell shooting.
