now im just confused... Tommy VS LB

ok im in the USA so i can have a FAC gun but im lost between the longbow and tomahawk, either in .22.

i go to review central but that just makes it worse! is the tomahawk any less accurate then the longbow?

and what would yall do if you had the chance? (not considering the FAC limit)

    thanks

The longbow is better, ask anyone at Agincourt. With the tomahawk you need to be MUCH closer to inflict any damage.

As you probably know the Longbow is a shortened version of the Tommy, designed I believe primarily for the UK market (12ft/lb limit). I'd go for the Tommy if greater power is what you're after. The main advantage for owning the Longbow would be it's lighter weight and shorter length (if you prefer a shorter rifle).
I believe the triggers are the same, stock design etc. The only difference being size.
I own a custom Longbow and when I save up I'll go for a Tommy all Venomed up.

Nice one Gary. Haven't seen much of him recently, I guess he's in Iraq or something

Neither one is less accurate than the other. The Longbow may be easier to shoot accurately though- it's carbine and short stroked. Hence the pellet is in the barrel for less time, meaning follow through isn't as critical (though it's still pretty damn important!)

I've used a Longbow quite a bit, very nice guns. Finish is very good too.

Memo to self- read post properly.

The Longbow is a bit more than a cut down Tommy to be accurate it's scaled down to be a 12FPE gun.
So there is a bit more to it than just cutting a chunk out of the receiver but not much more.
