Recently whilst recharging my sm100 it started venting air at 100bar. Thinking it just needed a new o ring or similar, I took it into my gunsmith.

It took him two days to fire off enough shots, before it dumped the rest of the air.

He wasn't able to get at the part he needed to, so air arms were consulted and apparently a special tool was required.

So off it went to air arms , this was 10th April .

Despite numerous phone calls new o ring was not fitted until 13th May.

It failed the 24 hour pressure test but I finally got gun back today

As good as new, but eventually needed o rings, valve seals, filler valve filter, filling valve plug. Regulator pressure body seal, so pretty much a full overhaul of all the pressure bearing parts.

Cost of all this £111 including labour and carriage.

I don't know what the moral of this story is, but I will say don't send anything off to air arms if there is an impending public holiday.
