Hi
Have a look at the UKBR22 site, full set of rules on there and just cherry pick what suits,There is also the Midland League,or the NSRA league, shooting ten spot cards.
Regards John F.
Hello all, i have been looking for some rules for an air rifle shooting competition.
Looking at trying to set up a generic 25m or 25 yrd comp at the local club.
Really don't want to over complicate it.
Does anyone have any links to some comp rules that I can look through and put together at set for ourselves.
Basic format would be ten targets one shot each, with maybe, monthly winners, running as a league.
Any help would be great.

cheers both, Thanks for the info.
Thats a good question, I have pondered this issue also and wanting to get the most out of my time,
practice, and make my work/play meaningful. Here is what i would do, or a variation there of.
1. Follow the Olympic Scoring format and targets used for the 10m Standing Air Rifle matchs.
2. At 25m I would make it a bench rest competition.
2. qualification round, 60 shots max 10 points per shot. (max score 600 points)
3. Take top qulifiers and have a final shot off. 10 shots max score of 10.9 per shot. (max socre 109 points)
4. Add up qulification shots and final 10 shots to get an overall winner. (total max score 709 points)
This way you can also compare your score to olympic shooters. Albeit, they are closer to target
and standing while you will be benchrested. It would be interesting to see how you compare to the
other Gold Medalist! lol
