    Webley Alecto Barrel Help

I'm would like to convert my .177 Alecto to .22 and wondered if anybody could advise me of a good reliable site to buy a .22 barrel which would also be long enough to protrude from the end of the pistol maybe an inch so i could also fit a 1/2" UNF silencer adapter? muzzelmack have now discontinued their Alecto barrels .

You need to acquire a Crosman 11mm barrel and get UK Neil to machine it for you, and if necessary, make up a suitable silencer adaptor.
The other alternative is to also acquire a Crosman silencer for the 11mm barrel, which is what I did.
Once you have done this particular conversion, it is essential you Chrono the output after using three pumps for input.

I'd think twice about this, i was reliably informed that a .177 alecto converted to .22 on 3 pumps will go over the limit.

Chambers can supply the barrels, but, unless you can send them another old barrel, type and condition being unimportant, so they can treat it as an exchange purchase, they will only send new barrels to registered RFD's.
This is a consequence of the VCR act.
