Hi all
Seems to me as though each of our clubs is, in turn, trying to make successive rounds harder than the last one; today’s excellent course at the Oaks ably aided and abetted by a tricky little breeze, which almost completely fooled me when out in the field. I seem totally incapable of scoring anything in the 90s percentage range. Doh
Well done to those who did get it right, particularly young Mr Light, with a phenomenal 57.
Scores presented here in the usual format and with the usual request to please let me know (PM or email) if you spot any known or suspected errors/omissions.

As Stennar-the-younger has now managed an impressive 5 gold badges in 5 rounds, he is the first ever SIHFTer to be awarded this year’s very special PLATINUM badge. Good (and extremely consistent) shooting young man. Keep it up
And the team scores for the comp as we reach the half way stage now look like :
Club Round 1 Round 2 Round 3 Round 4 Round 5 Total
Buxted 279 282 263 266 270 1360
Oaks 265 281 275 260 275 1356
Iden Fern 257 278 266 260 253 1314
Ford 257 274 264 256 253 1304
Horsham 269 256 255 241 240 1261
Swallows 243 265 250 234 239 1231
Horsham's Team today was 2 people 'light', but the SIHFT rules make allowance for this and two (otherwise non team scoring) cards were drawn at random. They were worth 51 and 38 points, bringing the team total up to the figure you see above.
Round 6 is coming up soon; in two weeks (Sunday 26th June) at Horsham.

You come into this world with nothing, go out in debt and you've made a profit
Thank you Mike for the quick work.
I'm still getting used to looking for my name in the upper half/third (it varies with my shooting) of the individual results.
Oh, please don't any other clubs pull in front of Mileoak; I don't think Spongie could handle that. Would be very very funny though.

The targets were tuff and quite imaginative making them great fun to shoot (if only I'd hit more!)
Thanks again
