Blimey, Sir Terry himself will be there. I suppose we ought to make an effort if a non-shireling is going to be there. Best bib & tucker, lads.

    Timing

Does anyone know and can confirm the timing of this event? Gates open; booking in; actual comp start time.

    Bit confused here, as :

    1. the site where tickets are ordered (I have mine ) says the 'start' time is 09:00, but doesn't say if this is the competition start time or booking in time

    2. on his thread, Terry D mentions registration is between 08:30 and 09:30, and

    3. on the various web pages advertising the game Fair (e.g. HERE) it says the gates open at 10:30

If the organisers are intending to send out confirmation of all this by email (or whatever) nearer the event, that's fine, but would be good to know this so I can keep watch for it.

Would really appreciate a bit of clarity on this please, as I'd rather not turn up to be turned away at the gate.

    Thanks
