Just bought a sharp ace for the grand sum of £60 with a simmons deerfield 3x9x40 scope now the bad bit after a herbal cig or two he thought it would be a good idea to cut the butt off I have since found a replacement and fitted it the gun itself is like new and never been tampered with I'll post some pics of work in progress

Sorry never got the butt or plate i believe they ended up in the fire, i got given a WH 77 stock and cut the butt off and joined the both off them together with wood screws shaped and sanded up to now still work in progress

will you do a bare wood strip and then stain it all a nice dark oak or mahohany?

That looks great, can you post a picture of the whole stock to see the proportions, is the stock solid enough? I would like more updates and photos of its progress because this is what i joined the forum for. Great gun to save as well.
I bet the wh77 is the worlds longest and heaviest pistol now
