Any tips on looking after a BSA Magnum?

I bought a lovely BSA Magnum the other day.

I want to replace some parts such as the breach seal and I would think that the main spring as its 15 years old. Is there anything else that needs/should be purchased alongside this or is it just the spring and away you go?

The closing clip on these can break so have a look at TW Chambers and see if you can get spare bits.
May just be rough handling, Didnt happen to mine.
Great pistol if you can work out the technigue.
Mine was point and shoot-dont aim

Funnily enough, I'm looking to sell a BSA 240 Magnum myself. I've just posted another thread on this forum to get an idea of how much it is worth before I take it to a trader.

I'm pretty sure that when I purchased it 15 years ago, I ordered another two breech seal kits to go with it. As yet, I don't believe I have used them on the gun... my Magnum has probably had only about 200 shots through it in it's whole life. I get the impression that breech seal kits are hard to find as well, so might be worth a little money on their own. Mine are proper BSA breech seal kits. I've got to dig out the original box to see if they are in there... I'm sure they are.

So I might have a kit available if you are interested.

    Thanks
    Darren
