.69 round ball wanted

Does anybody know where I can get a few .69 rb for a musket that I have.I dont want to buy a mould yet (unless its cheap) as the gun may not be very good. I only need half a dozen or so to try it out. Any stockist in Essex would be good.

Unfortunately he's in Berkshire rather than Essex, but Andy Allwood, www.tfsa.co.uk, is very useful for such things and his prices are good

I know Jeff tanner, who is in billericay, does ball moulds and patches, though I don't know if he does balls. I can't remember his website address, but just search on Jeff tanner moulds and you'll find him. Use kranks if you want to pay too much and receive the wrong goods sometime next year.

thanks guys, I was trying to get half a dozen ball to try before I spent money on a mold. The gun is a nepalese brunswick type smoothbore, so it could be fun.

Hiya chap I've got the remains of my last cast batch of .69, approx 32 balls.
If you want to cover postage, dunno guessing about a pound and half in weight they are yours otherwise they would go back in the pot for .44. Unfortunately I sold the mold earlier in the year

Spoke to Andy - he does carry .69 ball & also Andy suggested better with the smoothbore would be .675 ball that use a patch . both sizes are £11 per 50
