Thanks Mike, speedy as usual
Hi all
Yet another superb course from our friendly Hawks, in their lovely bit of woodland and field, though not sure about the dangerous ram whose field we had to cross. Was this just a ploy to set our nerves on edge? Certainly worked in my case; must be one of the best excuses for a very poor result I’ve had in years
Good shooting to the few (just 9 today) worthy of a gold. That’s the lowest ‘gold’ count so far in the 2011 series.

Well done Horsham, in the words of the estate agent...deceptively unwindy, with windy bits with deceptively spacious...spaces between target and pegs...occassionally!
Just caned the caterham around a bit to make me feel better....
Top shooting Andy, you may be ugly but that was top gun without the Tom Cruise!

Hawks, that is the sort of course I love.
Great target placement making ranging tricky but not impossible, the high tree shots are sublime. Winning points for my favourite ground of the series, do try to hang on to it chaps
If only I had zeroed my rifle properly
My book "How to make enough stupid mistakes in a series to floor an elephant" will be available shortly
Good shooting with Josh, he is so unflappable

Morning all
As result of an error I'd made to the spreadsheet macro which works out the ranking, I have just made a small change to the team places, swapping John McDonald for Ryan Stennar.
This lifts (like they need it ) the Buxted score for Round 6 from 268 to 269 and grand total to 1629; now leading the field by 11 points.
Many thanks to the captain who pointed out my failings

Definitely not Hobbit toes, not hairy enough. I'm more concerned by the lack of opposable thumb. In which case it's probably an Oakie hand.
