The XL9 is let down by it's mag, according to Bax the 25 is worse.
Hi, I have a chance to buy an xl25. Ripley stopped making them as too finicky. As I tried the scan 96 shot, with similar magazine that gave some difficulty, I wondered if the purchase would be a bother. Anyone have any pro/con info. Response appreciated.

Go for it , ive got an xl9 and i love it and it will be if not allready very collectabe. Yes the pellet feeds are a bit finicky but im sure that once you got used to it it would be ok. You can take the side feeds off i think if you dont get on with them.I dont ever regret buying mine.
Art go for it-you know you want to!!!
I preffered the XL9, beautifully made but still a pain in certain circumstances

Do Ripley have a website???
Hi, Ripley only current web site is http://www.webcruize.co.uk/ripley%20rifles.htm
This is old and refers you to DEBEN as distributor. The current Distributor is Litts. Call Ron, # on web site. Or the number for Ripley is still good, and you can speak with (usually John) and they will email you current prices & stocks etc. But you need to make purchases through Litts. As my order is already in on a commemorative run of 10-12 rifles, I can tell you the run is in operation, 30 lb rifles in nickel plate & .22. I can't wait for mine.

Ps If you speck to John or Ron Mention my name, I may make points, It couldn't hurt.. (+ they should know what your talking about
