Lightbulb Titan XS mainspring size chart.

I just got this from TW Chambers and I thought it might be useful to anyone looking for a new spring for an older, unlisted gun. All measurements are in metric millimeters.

Hope this helps someone out. It already helped me pick the new spring for and old Fast Deer .177 side lever I have!

I''ll bet it doesn't tell you how much needs cutting off each one to get it legal though.

    Titan sizes

Yes, very helpful. Standard HW77 spring has 35 coils over 253mm, whereas Titan no. 1 (listed as replacement for HW77) has 31 coils over 280mm. Hard work getting that in without cutting it down!
BSA Meteor standard has 37 coils over 276mm, but the Titan "equivalent" (No. 6) has 39 coils over 341mm. Now that was a bugger to install...... had to cut 30mm off it and collapse a couple of coils!

what's the best/easiest way to collapse coils? heat up with MAP gas and just bend it to shape?
