    Crosman 1377 series 2

I have a crosman 1377 series 2 in great original condition with all manufacturers stickers still on. I have compared mine with my friends series 2 and mine differs a little bit and is older than his. It has single piece grips and is mostly made of steel. It is definately a series 2 because it has the plastic breech.
I bought this for a crosman backpacker project but is too good to canibalize so i am selling to fund other guns. This is my first attempt at photos so bear with me. Any questions dont hesitate

    looks more like a phase 1 ..?

I thought that the phase 1 was the only one with a rotary breech like this .. I thought Phase 2 and 3 were/are bolt action ..? ... sure someone will correct me

20 minutes and a Google search later ... I am talking crap so ignore me.

Your not talking total crap though Lee.

It is a phase 1 but it was made after January 1979 when Crosman changed to the plastic breech set up.

The first four numbers in the serial number will start after 0179 (Jan 1979) on this gun ------ That's how you date them.

Phase two's had an oval trigger guard and were introduced in 1981.

    All the best Mick
