    pistol scopes

Allways found scopes on pistols useless, and found red dot sights far more useable.

    Scope v red dot

    Hi,
In reply to Ras1 I found the opposite to be true, (at least for me), I have a Walther 2x42 red/green dot but found it difficult to hit my targets, it seemed that the dot was too big and too bright and covered the target, I even glued a small round 'O' ring onto the front lens so that I could line up the dot in the middle of the ring and then onto the target... and it was a lot easier to hit something, (I think this is the missing link on red dot scopes) however I now sport a 2x32 scope and Hey, it is a lot more accurate and the cross hairs do not cover the target.

It is a lot of scope for the money - on 4x it is superb although the higher mag gives some alignment and eye relief limitations.......
