    Crosman Medalist MkII 1300

    I have just picked up a nice example of theis pistol in the sealed bid auction at Holts. It is an early pistol, one of those with a hole in the cylinder end plug. Does anyone know what this hole is for? The other 1300 I have does not have the hole.
    The South of England has 2 good things, the M1 and the A1. Both will take you to Yorkshire.

    If the exhaust valve fails to seat back onto the main valve body you can poke a cocktail stick through the hole to seat it.
