Yes... well, where do I start?

So much for my three golds to get a platinum. There's always next year.

At least I got the Oak tree and Oaks targets. So that's two on my list of goals crossed off.

Thanks to the Oaks for an 'enjoyable' course. Can't shake this feeling of Déjà vu with some of the tagets though.

Roll on Swallows & Buxted for more misery & pain.

    and

All but four targets in the woods were moved, anyone who thought different needs to look for their score somewhere near the bottom of the list no doubt.....

Great company, tough course few tears....(that's just me...) no bee stings and three or four stoppages all day!!

One of our juniors mentioned that Buxted thought it was all over.....WELL IT IS NOW!!

We pulled back 20 points to leave us leading by five and the next shoot at Swallows is always windy.......need i say anymore...

Quite interesting reading back over this entire thread of pre-conceived and premature back slapping by one of the clubs...

Great day though and a right good laugh....mainly directed at my shooting...

Thankyou to all the Oakies, great score of 56 by Bob Pattenden, see you all at Swallows!

Well done Oakies. Sorry I had to dash away - and did so before seeing the result, good to see the competition hotting up close to the end of the season.

What a shoot - after my first 3 shots I was 4 points down - I thought I was in a for a negative score.

How Bob and Pat put those scores in is beyond me.

Ho hum another day, another chance at the platinum blown - only one chance left as I can't make the next one

    Regards

    The Oaks

Great weekend rounded off with a very good and challenging comp, thanks to all my "Oakie" buddies for the work put in setting the course, done with a huge amount of creativity and gusto ( no pun intended), the reward for which was to nudge quite convincingly ahead of the present champions, nothing lasts forever boys and of course there are still some rounds to go, but for the momment we will take full enjoyment in leading the field, big thankyou to all who took part and to Andy for the scrumptious burgers etc. Take care all, Terry.
