Hi all

I just had an hour cleaning the action and stock of the old Relum that Blackrider gave me yesterday..

the scrapes on the stock that waere lighter in colour than the rest, I used brown shoe polish, the type that's liquid in a bottle with a sponge applicator, after I had buffed it with a clean rag (old T-shirt ), it came up with a bit of a shine but all the same hue, I then gave it a couple of coats of beeswax and it looked lovely

The action got a good rub up with wire wool soddened in 3 in 1 oil the a really good rub over with a dry soft cloth ('nother T-shirt ) then I went at it with Mr Sheen (no stickiness like oil!), the results are below..
