You first 3x choices being FAC, I assume that this is the way you'd like to go.
Not knowing your history, I'd say that you owe it to yourself and the prey that you'd be shooting to start off with a non-FAC rifle, get plenty of experience and become a proficient shot before obtaining an FAC.
If on the other hand, you are an established/accomplished shot the go for it (so long as the land is FAC approved )
......oh, and welcome to the madest, badest place for airgunners.....
Looks like he's got the kit to me.Originally Posted by Kev. (Cambs.)

Welcome mate
Just ignore the loonies (except me of course)
Yes, welcome Dave, to THE board
I suspect, however, if you ignore the loonies you will be pretty lonely

Hi All,
Thankyou For The Warm Welcome To Your Bbs Community.
I'm New To The Bbs ,but Not To Shooting. I Got My First "airgun" When I Was 16 - 22 Years Ago.it Was A Webley 'tempest' Air Pistol,
Which By The Way I Have Still Got And It Still Works !.
I've Had Various Springers During My Journey Through Life.
The Bsa Lightning 12ft/lb Is My 'loan' Gun, My Brother-in-laws' 16 Year Old Nephew Is Always Keen To Come Out Shooting With Us.
There Are 5 Of Us Who Go Plinking Or Bashing On A Regular Basis.
Fac Cleared Land Is Always Hard To Find - That's Why When You Get It You Respect It. It's Hard For Me Cos' I've Got So Much Army Land Around My Area And I Can't Go Near It With A Firearm.
I'm Eventually Going To Trade-in Or Sell The Bsa Super 10 And The Hw100 To Help Finance The Purchase Of A 'rimmie' & O/u,this Should Open A Few More Doors For Me In The Greatest Of Passtimes - Shooting.the Trouble Is, It's Very Hard To Say Goodbye To Old 'favourites'.
I'm A Bit Of A Stock Modification Nut- If You Remove The Butt-plate Of The Rws 500 Ranger, Drilling Out The Stock/butt Face Plate Reveals A Huge Cavity.i've Packed Mine Full Of Electronics To Control My Gun Lamp, laser, etc. Also I've Managed To Put A Ni-cad Battery In There As Well, this Gives Power To My Laser & Control Circuitry.
3 Push Button Switches Built Into The Grip Of The Trigger Hand Give Me Finger Touch Control Of All My 'add-on' Accessories.main Battery Power For The Gun Is Fed Via A Socket Mounted On The Base Of The Trigger Grip.hence With All These 'mods' You Can't See Any Wires Dangling About.then All Sprayed Up In Stealth Matt Black- Lovely !
???????? Maybe I'm In The Wrong Job !!
Once Again - Thanx For The Welcome.
Welcome to the'' jungle'' Dave
