    Hello,

I have a pair of Webley Rifles, consecutive Ser. No’s and each with two barrels.
Pricey, but if you’re interested let me know.
All in a period box .

    Regards,

    Sam

    Hi Sam

I didn't think that Mk1 rifle barrels were interchangable

Are you sure they're not Mk2 Service rifles??

    Cheers, John

I've seen a pic of them. Deffo Mk1s and each with barrels in two calibres. An incredible piece of airgunning history.

    Webley mk 1 rifle

Interchangeable in the manner that the pistol series barrels can be changed.

Yep John, doggie's wotsits they certainly are! Sam did post pics on here some years ago and I have copies somewhere, but not accessible right now.

I expect he could be persuaded to repost them. I seem to remember the rifles were owned by a colonial gent and went with him to the Far East, or somewhere exotic. (My memory could be faulty here ).
