    Uk Springer @ Kibworth Results

What initially looked like being a wet day turned out dry and with very little wind for Round 4 of the UK Springer Championship. All springers were entered in the comp and will be entered in the Kibworth Marksman series if they are competing in it .
By no fault of his own , Paul Chapman nearly picked up the .22 Springer win ,until it was noted that a Steyr springer has not been made yet .

A superb mornings shoot, so thanks to the Kibby crew for putting it on, and also for talking nicely to the wind pixies to arrange the big black clouds to move on minutes before we started. I noted I wasn't the only one quietly par boiling in gortex strides.
Thanks to Andy and Charlie for the company, sorry I had to dash off, the inhabitants of the greenhouse here were in danger of making a bid for freedom.

I think a big well done to William Lee, that was one fab looking Webley Jaguar he was wielding!

My thanks too to everyone who was so helpful to someone having his first attempt at HFT - especially to someone old enough to find lying down and getting up again 30 times in a day enough of an effort on its own, even without the addition of trying to knock down a target while there. Much more difficult than it looks!

Thanks for the acknowledgement Andy but I know how hard big Greg and little Greg worked this week to put the course out and if I took any praise for this course I think Greg might be a bit P..... off.
Not only that but me and the wife have been down Cambridge all week setting the course out for today's shoot.

Great shoot at Kibby yesterday and Kyle Hampton what a fantastic springer shooter he is well done mate.

How close is that, Anyone from 7 upwards can still finish inthe top 3.

Big pressure at the final round at Lea Valley.

    Can't wait.

A big Thank You to the organizers and course setters,

And also to the Gods for the clement weather,

Cheers also to Team Goss for the constant stream of abuse, was well chuffed with my score as it is almost two years since I last shot a Springer comp,

It must have been a while as I took out my first target with an irate spider that had been living in my 95 barrel
