    Alecto question

    My Alecto readings

    1 pump - 3.5 ft/lbs
    2 pumps - 5.5 ft/lbs
    3 pumps - 4.5 ft/lbs.

    Any ideas why?

Air reservoir over-pressurised and hammer has insufficient force to overcome this for long enough to dump all its air?
Just as well - it looks like as it would probably be over the limit if it did....

As it's a One-Shot, Knock-Open valve if it fires at all you get all the air out.
I suspect that when the dump valve releases pressure on the third stroke it doesn't reseal until the reservoir has dropped below the pressure from two pumps,

    Allo Nick,

    One shot dump all valves,

Only work if there is not a ricohchet Hiccup!

    These valves work fine unless??

The out going pressure forces the dump valve partially back, and or the dump vent is not entirely clear,

Or the outgoing pressure confuses the transwoggle switch.
