Still remember the ad in the airgun mags for it. £19.99 it was.

It's the B2's older brother, but probably more or less exactly the same. IIRC the older ones didn't have scope rails.
£19.99! What year would this have been?

This one has grooves for fitting a scope...

I'll stick a photo up later

    Would have been around 1986.

I think the dovetailed version came out (or at least was advertised) perhaps a couple of years later.

So tell us, is the Readers Wives section really as good as they say?

Red face Oops! Perhaps I should have looked more closely...

    Hmm,

Having just dragged the poor gun out from the cabinet, I noticed "Made in West Germany" stamped on the action. So I'd better say 'Mea culpa' and crawl back under my stone.

Photos of the gun (and original box) are here: <clickety>

    Hi Martin

Yes I'll definitely be happy to swap my very rare only slightly coroded "Pioneer" for your truly dreadful "Air Wolf"

    Cheers

Nah, at least I can say I have an Air Wolf!

TBH, I have no idea what to do with it. A VGC one went for £50 apparently, so it has little financial value, but I wouldn't mind letting it go to someone who collected Webleys.

hi peakecentral, if you do not want it i will take it off your hands, not for financial gain but to do it up to a saleable condition then sell it on the forum and donate what i get for it to the forum funds.

i have one of these! it was my first airgun when i was 12 handed down from my brother.

a havent used it for years but last night i dug it out to strip it down and wow the internals are horrible!

the piston seal is smashed to pieces (probably from dry firing hundreds of times, i knew no better when i was 12) the spring has blown out in the middle and the amount of gunge in there was nasty.

As the piston seal fell apart its no longer shootable but i just dont have the heart to throw it away.
