    The RWS/Original Diana 24 is a nice rifle, even if it was forced to masquerade as a Webley (Webley Firebolt anyone? a flippin QB78 innit!).

    If you want to extract more power there is a nice nylon piston washer that Maccari sells IF YOU DARE. Longstroke, bigger spring - you could be pushing 7.5 ft/lbs.

    I have now started on the stock

    stripped it and have used walnut stain and have now applied the first coat of the famous DCL oil or whatever it's called ;D

    I know I need to finish removing the varnish from the finger grooves - I will do this - I just got a bit carried away with how good she was looking

    Usual bits of filler you find on many and most Chinese stocks but the wood is actually not that bad Any ideas on what wood it is?

    Second coat of oil on the stock now

    will leave now for 24 hours then knock back with 0000 wire wool
