    Wanted

    Weihrauch HW35 screw in back block that holds trigger assembly and main spring.

    There are two different safety back blocks.

    Also the back blocks are machined with their matched cylinder as a pair, so it's best to change both unless you have a lot of time on your hands.

    I'm willing to try either just to try and get it working, otherwise it may have to be sold as parts. And as i've just spent £70 on various new parts for it, it grieves me a lot !

    Early HW35s didn't have a safety and they still worked OK.

    But did they have a different trigger mechanism ?
    I will get it working so i will !!

    The Rekord trigger unit you have was used on the HW35 with or without a safety.

    Thats good news, because i've now drilled out the safety catch hole to 8mm and i'm going to put a piece of 8mm steel bar through it to keep the catch in all the time.
    May or may not work, we'll just have to see when the bar arrives off fleabay !
