I had an X2r .177 (no pressure guage) and it gave 65 shots from a true 220 BAR refill, as nutshot describes above, at 11.4 ft/lbs. At this point it came off the reg and provided a few more shots before the point of impact would start to drop and the chrono confirmed this.

The first sign that the shots are no longer regulated is usually a change in the sound of the muzzle blast on firing. My Mk3 is the same. The pitch and duration changing from a sharp crack to a slow fart.

It was around the 90-100 BAR mark, as indicated by the pressure at which the valve opened during refilling.

The first shot after refilling can differ, and the Daystate manual recommends either dry firing or a clearing shot.





The max fill pressure on mine IIRC was 232BAR (the figure on the barrel shroud)
