    Looking at it, does the ring (presumably attached to the piston?) move back into the stock area, and stay there until the trigger is pulled.....or is it a bicycle pump type........nice though!

    Yes thats exactly how you cock it, just pull back on the ring and the trigger sear catches on the back end of a minimal piston with leather washer.
    its a very simple, has a small diameter spring, smoothbore barrel, .22 cal I can only assume its for darts? I would not have thought it had enough beans for a lead ball?
    to load you twist the barrel and slide it forward, it has lugs on the barrel which lock it into place once loaded.

    I'm sure that will have the serious collecters watering at the mouth. Got to be uber rare
    in that condition. A month in Spain/Portugal over Xmas perhaps on the proceeds?
