Are American paint ball guns collectable

I am having a sort out of stuff and found this:

.68 cal Sheridan pump action paint ball gun, in good working order.

I assume there are collectors out there it's not my field or cup of tea come to that!
Does anybody have any ideas on value?

    Thanks

hi ,thats interesting but ive no idea its worth, except to say i bought a pistol of same era and style with the ally grip action at the front and the same calibre for around £50 about a year ago.i dont think they have become collectable yet! i use mine to plink at the wifes garden ornaments when shes out;great fun so long as i get all the paint off before she gets back.

I would end up hanging by the family jewels if I did that in the wife precious garden, but you have given me an idea about blasting garden gnomes at the local fete.

    Thanks for the idea!

I had one exactly the same, except it had a bulk tank conversion (very crude bracket holding a bottle to a recess in the stock, and a line round to the front)....I googled the model number (K2 I think).......blue book was 300-450 dollers

BUT........interest is only strong in the USA......mine was U/S, so I broke it down into components as these sell well on USABAY.........this was maybe a year ago,and I had a bay Kerfuffle about a USA destination item I sold.....a vintage cap gun, The customs flagged and inspected it and marked it "do not fly"......so I never got round to selling the bits and skipped them all I think

Have a google with the exact model and make......loads of sites in the USA, where vintage paintball is quite big.

it's a KP2. me likey. completely impractical to actually use against modern paintball guns (15 shot mag, 1 12g co2 does about 15 shots and an tricky twisting as you pump loading method).

I have one EXACTLY like the one pictured Peter. Works a treat with paint balls and rubber balls.
