    Weihrauch hw 45 power.

I've just become the proud owner of a nearly new hw 45,againYou see so many claims of these pistols producing 5.5 fpe plus.I've had 4 of these pistols and not one has broken the 5 fpe barrier, although I only use hobby pellets at 7.0 grains so there could be more power available.
I have just given mine a service as it looked very dry.On reassembling the pistol the chrono showed 9.75 fpe on full power and 4.75 fpe on half power I quickly ran over 50 pellets through it and it's now doing a consistent 4.8 fpe and 2.9 fpe and shoots very smoothly.I'm quite satisfied with this but was wondering if this is about average for this pistol, allowing for the light pellet choice as I don't have any heavier ones to test.
